Now that the host hotel and other venues are in order, we are finally able to provide a preliminary schedule of events for Tri-Cen XX! We will continue to update the schedule as more details are confirmed, but we wanted to get something out to help attendees start planning. The schedule is accessible from the “General Event Information” section of the registration website, or you can access it directly here:
TRI-CEN XX SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
We can’t wait to see everyone in December!!
We’re back in business! If you haven’t yet registered and have been waiting to do so, just head to the official TRI-CEN XX page and get to it!! Remember, the link to make reservations at the host hotel will be provided in your run pass confirmation email. Standard run pass prices are in effect until October 31st, but don’t wait until the last minute — get your run pass today! (And don’t forget to order some cool merch, too!) Can’t wait to see everyone in December!!
On Monday, June 12th, we signed a contract with Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown to be the new host hotel for Tri-Cen XX. We are allowing our current run pass holders a couple of days to re-book their hotel rooms (after having to cancel their reservations at Marriott last month), and we will re-open general registration at 8:30 AM this Friday (June 16th).
An email was sent to all of our current run pass holders with a link to instructions for accessing the new online reservation portal. If you are a current run pass holder and have not received this email, it is the same link that was provided in your original confirmation–we simply updated the landing page with the new host hotel’s information. If you do not have access to either of those emails, contact us at [email protected] and we will get you the link.
Once registration is back online, the same link will be provided in the confirmation email for all new run pass sales.
Our sincere thanks to everyone for your patience as we navigated this difficult situation. Once again, we are greatly looking forward to seeing everyone in December! Tri-Cen XX marches on!!
We are pleased to report that we have signed a contract with the Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown to be our new host hotel for Tri-Cen XX! We are expecting to receive the new online reservation portal on Tuesday (6/13); we will send the new link to all currently registered attendees and allow them a few days to make their new room reservations before re-opening general registration. We expect to fully re-open registration on Friday, 6/16 — stay tuned!!
We are almost back in business! The Philadelphians MC selected a new host hotel yesterday and is currently negotiating a contract. We are holding off on re-opening registration or publishing the new hotel information until we have a signed contract, but we wanted to give everyone a heads-up now. Once we sign a contract (hopefully this week or early next), we will re-open registration / run pass purchase for everyone, but we will give our currently registered attendees a few days to re-book their hotel rooms before opening up the hotel reservation portal to everyone else. Thank you so much for your patience in the interim, and we are still very much looking forward to seeing you in December! Stay tuned!!
Quick update on the Tri-Cen/Marriott situation:
The Marriott has acknowledged our cancelation and has voided our contract without further penalty; for that, we are grateful.
I have already sent an email to the currently registered attendees, but in case you are among that number and didn’t see it yet, guests will need to call in and cancel their reservations individually–their number is (215) 625-2900.
Reservations may be canceled up to 72 hours before the beginning of the first night’s stay (4pm, Dec 29) without incurring a charge; after that, one night’s stay will be charged.
If you feel at all able, please take the time to express your opinions about Marriott’s practices when you call; they should be made to hear each and every one of our individual voices.
We are already on the hunt for a new host hotel; a number of RFPs have already been submitted as of this morning. In the meantime, we have temporarily suspended new registrations until we have another hotel locked in. We will keep everyone apprised of our progress and report back immediately when registration is online again.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to quickly resolve this matter and get back on track for an amazing New Year’s celebration!
Captain / Tri-Cen XX Chair
Due to recent revelations about the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown’s decision to host the annual convention of the national extremist hate group “Moms for Liberty” the Philadelphians MC has severed ties with Marriott and will not be using them to host Tri-Cen XX or future events. The Philadelphians MC’s official statement can be found at this link. New registrations have been temporarily suspended as the Philadelphians MC work to secure a new host hotel for the event. Please stay tuned for more details as the situation develops.
RUN PASS SALES HAVE RESUMED!! The source of the malfunction was found and addressed, and the erroneous transactions have been corrected. PLEASE NOTE: If you experience network lag or slowness when clicking the final button in the registration process (where your card gets charged), DO NOT CLICK THE BUTTON MORE THAN ONCE. The form is coded to reject multiple button clicks, but in rare cases, network lag may prevent those safeguards from working, and you may be charged multiple times. This is a very rare occurrence, and if it happens, we can process refunds for the erroneous charges, but to avoid the ordeal in the first place, please just remember to ONLY CLICK ONCE.
IN LIGHT OF THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF TICKET SALES, THE EARLY REGISTRATION PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED. DISCOUNT RUN PASSES CAN BE PURCHASED UNTIL MIDNIGHT ON APRIL 9TH.
Visit our official Tri-Cen XX page and register today!
PLEASE STAND BY: We are temporarily suspending run pass sales due to a malfunction in the ticketing platform payment system. We will resume sales and send out another update once we have assurance that the problem has been fixed, and we will extend the early registration deadline accordingly. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Thanks! (If you haven’t joined the Tri-Cen XX mailing list, you can do so at the bottom of our official Tri-Cen XX event page.)
There are only a few days left to take advantage of the early registration period! Don’t miss your chance to get a $10 discount on all run passes and 10% off all merchandise!
As of Easter Sunday (4/9), “He is risen”…and so have our prices! (Yes, the joke was so bad we had to recycle it…)
